Accessibility Statement for the Dr. Levinger Group

Introduction

The ‘Dr. Levinger” medical centers group acts to make its branches accessible to people with disabilities and people with special needs in a variety of ways and per the guidelines of the Civil Service Commission.

We are committed and act to promote accessibility in order to enable people with disabilities and special needs to also make use of and benefit from the variety of services we offer to all our customers.

About a quarter of Israel’s population encounters internet accessibility difficulties: visually impaired, hearing impaired, people with motor impairments, the elderly and more.

In order for us to be able to provide optimal, professional and accessible service to everyone, we made the required accommodations to our website and implemented accessibility rules to the greatest extent possible per the principles of the Israeli accessibility standard and the Equal Rights for People With Disabilities (Accessiblity Accommodations for Services) Regulations, 5773-2013 (Mark C: Internet Services).

The website is adapted to the accessibility requirements of Standard 5568 at level AA per the guidelines of WCAG 2.1,
website accessibility is suited for the leading browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 9 and up.

Information about the website’s accessibility

We have invested a substantial quantity of resources to ensure that our website is easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, out of a strong belief that every person has the right to live in dignity, equality, comfort and independence.

We place at your disposal an advanced accessibility widget by UserWay [1}Web Accessibility{2], operated by a dedicated accessibility server.

The widget enables the website to improve its conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

The UserWay accessibility menu can be activated by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears in the corner of the page.

The accessibility menu and the technology operated in this website enable many options, such as:

  1. Adapting the website and website tags for assistive devices and technologies for people with disabilities.

  2. Enabling navigation through links in the website by using the keyboard.

  3. A button to disable flashing and/or moving elements on the screen

  4. A button to change contrast – light contrast, dark contrast and color inversion

  5. A link highlight button, which clearly emphasizes all links appearing in the website

  6. Changing the website font size, to make the fonts in the website larger or smaller

  7. A text spacing button, enabling 3 sizes of text spacing in the website

  8. An option to hide images in the website

  9. A button to display the alternative description (”alt text”) of all images in the website on mouse-over.

  10. Dyslexia support – changing the font to a font suited for dyslexics, enabling convenient reading of content on the website

  11. A button to enlarge the mouse cursor

  12. A reading mask button, enabling focus on a page’s main content.

  13. A reading guide button, adding a reading line under the mouse cursors, enabling convenient reading of the website content.

  14. Text alignment – an option to align the text on the website to the right, to the left, or to the center.

  15. Line height button – enables changing the height of the space between text elements on the website.

  16. Additionally, accessibility profiles are present, which make it possible to apply accommodations by accessibility profile. The existing profiles are: motor impairment, blindness, colorblindness, dyslexia, visual impairment, cognitive and learning disabilities, epilepsy, ADHD.

The accessibility widget supports screen reader software: JAWS, NVDA and more.

We continue our efforts to improve the accessibility of our website as part of our commitment to enable its use for the entire population, including people with disabilities and special needs.
